WELCOME TO PENMAENAU FARM

Penmaenau Farm Camping Ltd is a minimum of seventy five yards away from the Royal Welsh Agriculture Showground entrance, with the added bonus of having no major roads to cross.

Facilities

Penmaenau Farm offers several hundred pitches with excellent amenities, including permanent toilet and shower blocks with accessible facilities for disabled guests. Campers can enjoy FREE electric points for hair drying and phone charging, as well as free Wi-Fi (subject to availability).

Entertainment

Guests can enjoy free live entertainment every night, with performances starting from the Saturday before RWAS. Our large indoor venue features an 80ft bar offering a variety of drinks, alongside a family-friendly bar area for a quieter atmosphere.

Location

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Penmaenau is perfect for walking, trekking, and mountain biking, and is just a short walk from Builth Wells town centre. The town offers pubs, restaurants, and the Wyeside Arts Centre, featuring a cinema.

If you are staying at Penmaenau please take note of zone you are staying in, so that in an emergency you can provide direction. You can download the site map here.

The entrances to Penmaenau are via numbered gates, Gate 1 is the vehicular entrance Gate 2 is the main pedestrian entrance into the RWAS if you use this entrance you do not need to cross a road! We recommend that all pedestrians use Gate 2 to access the Penmaenau Campsite.

All guests can take advantage of our free internal transport Monday to Thursday. 7:30 - 21:30.

  • No, there are no electric hookups on our site

  • No, Pitches are allocated on a first come first serve basis

  • No, Cheques are no longer accepted as a form of payment

  • At present, online bookings are the only accepted method but we may add extra means of payment closer to the date.

  • The website will be updated as soon as either site is fully booked. once full, the website will no longer take bookings for that site

  • The additional car form can be found within our terms and conditions. However you can also download it from HERE
