Please note the layout of ALL campsites in the area following recommendations and legislation from Powys County Council and Mid & West Wales Fire Brigade.
CARAVAN SITE SAFETY GUIDELINES
Penmaenau Farm Camping Ltd will be continuing with last year's changes within the caravan site areas, as a result of recommendations from Powys County Council and Mid & West Wales Fire Brigade, we very much appreciate your co-operation. The main purpose is to reduce the risk of harm to the public. The following will be implemented at this year's show
Pitch Spacing
“To prevent the spread of fire on site caravans should be placed with at least six metres between caravan walls and at least 'three metres clear' between associated equipment (e.g. car or awning) and the adjacent caravan."Car Parking
You are advised not to park your vehicle between the caravans and the awning.
Please make use of the designated parking areas provided on the site or check with the stewards where to safely park your vehicle.Fire Extinguisher
Please ensure your caravan is equipped with adequate firefighting equipment (further information enclosed regarding fire extinguishers).
CARAVAN PARKING & AWNING GUIDELINES
Either:
Use an awning and park your vehicle in a designated space.
Park your vehicle next to the caravan and no awning.
A 'clear space' of 3 metres must be kept at all times between associated equipment and the adjacent caravan.
Following further health and safety recommendations, in the young area no vehicles will be permitted to park alongside a caravan or tent. All vehicles will be located in a designated parking area.
